Courtney has 6 years of clinical experience ranging from military, pediatrics, orthopedics and sports Physical Therapy. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA and is an avid Steelers and Penguins fan.
She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercises Physiology from the University of Delaware and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. After graduate school, she worked in Bavaria, Germany in a health clinic on a US Army base treating soldiers, dependents and civilians. Once she returned to the states, Courtney worked in Pediatrics in Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE for a children’s hospital focusing on sports and developmental diagnoses.
She moved to Washington, DC in 2016 and worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting, expanding her sports medicine skills in ACL post-op rehab, concussion/vestibular rehab and running injuries.
Courtney earned her level I and II certifications in therapeutic Functional Dry Needling in 2017/18 and Emergency Medical Responder certifications. Courtney is currently working toward her orthopedic manual certification.
She enjoys running, Orange Theory Fitness and playing volleyball.
