How Advanced Kinetics Supports Athletes’ Progress & Recovery

Whether you’re an athlete looking to improve your performance and progress in your sport or you’re trying to recover from an injury, Advanced Kinetics has the tools and the team to help. From our recovery room to our injury prevention programs to our clinical massage, we are prepared to help people at all levels. Athletic Recovery in the Recovery Room

Proper recovery is essential for training and competing at your highest potential while decreasing your risk for injury, muscle soreness, and fatigue. Did you know that Advanced Kinetics has a recovery room that will give you the tools to recover faster and more efficiently? By incorporating a variety of tools to actively recover the body and help aid in the recovery process, our recovery room can help you improve athletic and injury recovery. 

Tools in our recovery room include an Anti-Gravity Alter G treadmill, Normatec Compression Boots, and our Infrared Sauna. Our physical therapists are on staff to assess if there are any underlying medical conditions and if additional treatment could be needed.

Advanced Kinetics Injury Prevention Programs

Overhead Throwing Athlete

The Overhead Throwing Athlete Prevention Program is a 6-week program designed to address the specific needs of the overhead throwing athlete. The program consists of a thrower’s screen and an individualized program created based on the findings from the screen. The athlete will train two times per week, with each session consisting of a dynamic strengthening program for the entire kinetic chain, core stabilization, plyometric drill program to improve arm strength and mechanics.

ACL Injury Prevention Program  

Despite the name, F. A. S. T ™ – Female Athlete Sports Training Program is offered for male and female athletes. This program is available for athletes transitioning to return to sports and teams/clubs. We also offer additional ACL services, which include prevention exercises and video analysis.

Running Program

In our running program, comprehensive biomechanical evaluation, video analysis, and dorsaVi sensor technology are used to evaluate your running gait. This screen will be performed to identify any dysfunctions contributing to your running injury or to help you improve your running performance. The running program consists of evaluation, video analysis, a follow-up session, and corrective exercises to address any deficiencies in your form.

Athletic Recovery & Injury Prevention With Massage Therapy

Massage therapy goes beyond relaxation—it’s a powerful tool to boost performance and prevent injury. By improving blood flow and circulation, massage helps deliver oxygen and nutrients to muscles while flushing out waste, leading to better endurance and faster recovery.

Regular massage also reduces soreness, making it easier to train consistently. It supports injury prevention by keeping muscles flexible, improving range of motion, and lowering stress and tension—common contributors to injury. Whether you’re deep into training or just starting out, massage can help you recover faster, train smarter, and feel your best.
